- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions along with any enrollment forms and related documents
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, enrolling in our programs, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in our programs. By enrolling, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services or enroll in our programs.
3. Educational Programs and Services
3.1 Program Description
Our programs provide financial education designed to help participants develop knowledge and understanding of personal financial management. Program descriptions, durations, and content are provided on our website and in enrollment materials.
3.2 Educational Nature
Our services are strictly educational in nature. We do not provide financial advice, recommend specific investments, sell financial products, or manage client assets. Participants remain solely responsible for their own financial decisions.
3.3 Program Modifications
We reserve the right to modify program content, schedules, or facilitators as necessary. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants. If changes significantly affect program value, participants may request a refund according to our refund policy.
4. Enrollment and Registration
4.1 Enrollment Process
Enrollment becomes binding upon payment of program fees. We will confirm your enrollment via email with program details and access information.
4.2 Enrollment Requirements
Participants must provide accurate contact information and any requested details during enrollment. You are responsible for maintaining current contact information throughout program participation.
4.3 Program Capacity
Programs have limited enrollment to maintain quality instruction. Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis once payment is received.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Program Fees
Program fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are payable at the time of enrollment unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other methods as indicated during enrollment. Payment must be received before program access is granted.
5.3 Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refunds are processed according to the following schedule:
- More than 14 days before program start: 100 percent refund minus administrative fee of SGD 50
- 7-14 days before program start: 50 percent refund
- Less than 7 days before program start: No refund
- After program has started: No refund except in cases of serious illness or other extenuating circumstances, evaluated on a case-by-case basis
5.4 Program Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another program session.
6. Participant Responsibilities
6.1 Attendance and Participation
Participants are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. While we understand that conflicts may arise, regular attendance is important for gaining full program value.
6.2 Conduct Standards
Participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully toward facilitators and other participants. Disruptive behavior, harassment, or violations of confidentiality may result in removal from the program without refund.
6.3 Confidentiality
Participants agree to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information or personal details shared by other participants during programs.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
All program materials, content, workbooks, templates, and other educational resources are the intellectual property of Cornerstone Planning and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 License to Use Materials
Participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use program materials for personal financial planning purposes only. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
7.3 Restrictions
You may not: copy materials for distribution to others, sell or license materials, modify materials for commercial use, or remove copyright notices from materials.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
8.1 Educational Disclaimer
Our programs provide general financial education and are not tailored financial advice for your specific situation. You should consult with qualified financial, legal, or tax professionals before making significant financial decisions.
8.2 No Guarantees
We make no guarantees or promises regarding specific financial outcomes or results from participating in our programs. Financial success depends on many factors including individual circumstances, decisions, and market conditions beyond our control.
8.3 Service Availability
While we strive to provide uninterrupted access to our services, we do not guarantee that our website or programs will be available at all times or free from errors.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law:
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use our services.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific program giving rise to the claim.
These limitations apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cornerstone Planning, its facilitators, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your misuse of program materials or information
- Your financial decisions made based on program participation
